Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County is currently hiring for a Medical Records Specialists in its Statesville location. Weekdays with some flexibility but weekly schedule will include Monday and Friday.
This Position supports the medical records needs of the organization by ensuring complete and timely medical records are maintained.
Candidate should be flexible and multi-task oriented with a good working knowledge of medical terminology and processes, must be flexible, detail oriented and able to follow tasks through to completion. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, computer skills especially in Microsoft Office products. Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Background and experience in Medical Records required, medical coding experience preferred.
Competitive hourly rate and benefits package is available.
This position is an 80% (36 hours/week) position.
