Evening & Overnight Body Imager New York University School of Medicine The New York University School of Medicine of the NYU Langone Medical Center invites nominations and applications for the position of an Evening and Overnight Body Radiologist in the Department of Radiology. The position involves evening and overnight coverage on a 1 week on, two weeks off schedule. NYU includes 4 emergency departments with two level 1 trauma centers, Bellevue Hospital and NYU Lutheran Medical Center. These sites provide a tremendous wealth of clinical material, including major trauma, and are linked via our state-of-the-art PACS and EMR. The body imager will work in direct consultation with NYU Emergency Medicine clinicians. There will be ample opportunities for clinical and educational interaction with the other 4 members of the evening/overnight team and 21 members of the Abdominal Imaging Section. This is a wonderful opportunity for a radiologist with interest/competency in body imaging to practice cutting edge radiology in a stimulating and challenging environment with a desirable work schedule. The successful candidate will have broad expertise in multi-organ body imaging, including thoracic imaging, pelvic US and abdominal MR. Fellowship training in body imaging will be considered a plus but is not required.
