Executive Director, Inpatient Services

The Inpatient Services Executive Director will be responsible for care partner retention, education and competency and support the professional development of nursing care partners.
Other responsibilities include developing and maintaining a departmental budget, providing excellent patient experiences as measured by HCAHPS, assuring safe patient care transitions by acting as a liaison and facilitator between Inpatient Services and other departments; and collaborates with physicians for the implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
Assumes 24-hour responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care activities and service operation.
The Executive Director, Inpatient Services reports to the Senior Vice President of Integrated and Acute Care Services/CNO.

Ensures strategic goals and objectives are met or exceeded by providing the leadership, management and oversight necessary to ensure areas of responsibility have the proper resources, metrics and talent in place to effectively fulfill our mission to provide Healing Experiences for Everyone all the Time .
Cultivates a safe, healing environment that promotes retention and employee appreciation/engagement; assures effective orientation, onboarding, and professional development of care partners; and inspires commitment to our mission, vision, values and safe care pledge.
Participates in policy formulation, strategic planning, preparation of the annual budget for assigned areas of responsibility and other patient care matters that result in the achievement of strategic goals/Game Plan measures.
Participates in interdisciplinary development and continuous improvement of patient standards of care, the collection and analysis of patient outcomes, and implementation of such standards of care.
Creates a continuous improvement environment that facilities the team to initiate actions that produce results, holding self and others accountable for actions and outcomes.
Collaborate with care partners at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, executive teams, and other stakeholders in the development, implementation and evaluation of programs and services.
Determine department report needs, collect data, develop and provide administrative, quality and efficiency reports and plans for improvement.
Evaluates factors related to safety, outcomes, effectiveness, cost, and social impact when developing and implementing practice innovations.
Serves as relief administrative supervisor.
-Master s in Nursing required. -5 to -State of Florida RN license, BCLS, ACLS
-Current Sigma Six Green Belt certification, or required within one (1) year of employment
