The Director of Diagnostic Services is responsible promoting and demonstrating Parrish Healthcare s Culture of Choice ; ensuring strategic goals and objectives are met or exceeded through effective leadership of patient and family-centered care delivery and management within the assigned areas of inpatient and outpatient radiology and lab services.
The Director will be responsible for care partner retention, education and competency and support the professional development of radiology and lab services care partners.
Other responsibilities include developing and maintaining a departmental budget, providing excellent patient experiences as measured by HCAHPS, assuring safe patient care transitions by acting as a liaison and facilitator between Diagnostic Services and other departments; and collaborates with physicians for the implementation of policies, procedures, standards, and regulations.
Assumes 24-hour responsibility, authority, and accountability for patient care activities and service operation.
The Director of Diagnostic Services, reports to the Vice President Ambulatory Services.

Ensures strategic goals and objectives are met or exceeded by providing the leadership, management and oversight necessary to ensure areas of responsibility have the proper resources, metrics and talent in place to effectively fulfill our mission to provide Healing Experiences for Everyone all the Time .
-Cultivates a safe, healing environment that promotes retention and employee appreciation/ engagement; assures effective orientation, onboarding, and professional development of care partners; and inspires commitment to our mission, vision, values and safe care pledge.
-Participates in strategic planning to anticipate current and future diagnostic services solutions.
Influences the innovation, development and growth of diagnostic service strategies that support the mission, vision and values of Parrish Healthcare.
-Participates in policy formulation, strategic planning, preparation of the annual budget for assigned areas of responsibility and other patient care matters that result in the achievement of strategic goals/Game Plan measures.
-Participates in interdisciplinary development and continuous improvement of patient standards of care, the collection and analysis of patient outcomes, and implementation of such standards of care.
-Bachelor s Degree Required. Master s Degree preferred.
- >5 years of experience required. Three (3) years of leadership experience required.
Two (2) years education experience required.
One (1) year healthcare experience required.
-AART registered. RT-R Current Sigma Six Green Belt certification, or required within one (1) year of employment
