Full-Time Temporary Project! Guardian Healthcare Providers, Inc. is a professional staffing company, providing nursing, behavioral, and allied staffing solutions to facilities and organizations which are highly unique! We seek a Registered Nurse (RN), who can monitor nursing care, follow up, and coordination of care, as part of an Oversight Team, for the benefit of residents who have recently transitioned from a large ICF facility to community providers in Central Florida area.
The goal of the Oversight Team is to ensure person-centered care in the least restrictive setting possible.
The Oversight Team is a mission-critical part of an organizational structure to ensure that all transition goals of the residents are carried out.
The Registered Nurse (RN) will ensure quality nursing care in collaboration with all other members of the person-centered care teams, and conduct follow-up activities as directed, before, during, and after all phases of residential transitioning.
Reporting of illness/injury and medication errors, and compliance monitoring is required.
Providing technical and best practice feedback to provider and state agency is required.
Traveling to client locations within central and other areas of Florida will be required; mileage and expenses will be reimbursed, and/or Rental Car and Company Credit Card provided. Minimum requirements are a BS in Nursing, Current unimpeded RN license in the state of FL or compact state, and at least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors.
Current PPD/TB clearance, current CPR (issued by Red Cross or the American Heart Association) are required.
Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background and drug testing.
