Delaware North, a leader in the travel services industry is currently seeking sales motivated individuals to promote and sell resort reservations at our inbound contact center in Amherst, NY.
Delaware North's Reservation Call Center is located in the Northpointe business park in Amherst, NY and is responsible for reservations for the company's Parks & Resorts division. The Customer Service Specialist supports reservations for the company's high end Australia properties and acts as a luxury vacation specialist.

Luxury Vacation Specialists actively sell and book lodging, packages and related activities and products to guests. They handle related communications via various media used in the contact center (primarily via inbound and outbound telephone calls but also includes voicemail, e-mail, fax, web-chat and other media). They assist guests with reservations and related information. All Destination Specialists will be expected to achieve targeted sales and quality standards. Luxury Vacation Specialists also are responsible for being the liaison with trade partners, loading group rooming lists and loading group blocks. They also handle general customer inquiries and provide exemplary guest service.
We are seeking candidates that have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years sales, customer service, retail, or hospitality industry experience
  • Previous travel agent experience preferred
  • An interest in hospitality, travel, and tourism
  • Strong interpersonal skills including listening, empathy and responsiveness
  • Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems
  • Ability to multi-task in an efficient, thorough, and prioritized manner
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately and independently
  • Ability to speak, read, write and understand English
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Exceptional typing skills and accuracy with data entry
  • Ability to follow direction in a dynamic, changing environment
