ABOUT US

ARKET is a new brand within the H&M group and will be a modern-day market, offering essential products for men, women, children and the home. Stores will also include a café in most locations. The name means "sheet of paper" in Swedish and both refers to our origin in the Nordic tradition of functional, long-lasting design and symbolises the blank sheet of creative possibilities. A desire for quality in every aspect is the foundation of what we do - and the main tool we use to help achieve our mission of creating a brand based on the essence of beauty, simplicity and sustainability.

THE ROLE

We are convinced that a high level of customer service through engaged and knowledgeable staff, together with offering our customers a true store experience, will be our brand's main success factors. The Department Manager will work closely with and report to the Store Experience Manager to make sure the customer service levels are high and secure the brand experience on department level. As Department Manager you are responsible for leading and developing your department in the store and improving daily operations. Some responsibilities include:

  • Support, motivate and lead your department team
  • Create an inspiring and visually attractive department for customers together with your team
  • Always act as customer service role model

WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The role requires ability to overview, plan and organise both your own work and the team's to achieve set goals for the department. As a person you are communicative and have a flexible attitude. You're team oriented and convinced that customer service and sales are the same thing. You are caring and genuinely want the best for your team. You have experience from managing a team and working with customer service, as well as good German and English skills.
