Sales Account Manager

We are currently looking to support our client with an Sales Account Manager based in Germany. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' commercial experience.
You will be joining a reputable sector leading business within the global plastics market, supplying an extensive range of standard and speciality coloured, white and black masterbatches, compounds and additives. This role offers an excellent brand-new opportunity, as a part of the B2B European sales team, reporting into the International Business Development Manager.
You will be responsible for growing profitable sales in the German speaking area. Typical markets will be Automotive, Construction, Industrial and E+E. Your customers will mainly be in the polymer compounding & processing industry and you will be expected to create, build and improve business relationships daily which drive commercial results.
We want motivated candidates with the right aptitude and attitude to learn, who can ultimately be effective in delivering what needs to be done, on time, independently with minimal management. We are also looking for an individual who is keen to progress and learn, as the business plans to grow and invest in its people and infrastructure.
The minimum requirements for this role are:
* A technical graduate with a Degree in polymer science or process technology
* 2 + years commercial experience within the sector
* Fluent in both English and German
* Essential to be residing in Germany, in the South would be desirable.
* Able to travel throughout Germany, for up to 3 days each week
* Independent and self-motivating
* Home based office role
