We are searching for a Business Development Executive to address the following parts of our portfolio:
SEEBURGER Business Integration solutions, including B2B, EAI, MFT, API Management etc., delivered on-premise, hybrid or as cloud. This role will be based in our offices in Paris.
The initial vertical-market focus will be within Industrial Machinery & Plant Engineering, but the successful candidate will have access to accounts in other verticals to work within for opening new opportunities as well.
The Business Development Executive needs to have a sound understanding of business drivers and use cases for B2B, MFT, BPM, SOA, API Management, Digital Applications, EAI including SAP integration, Cloud, and EDI processing and translation.
The candidate must be a "hunter" professional who will help create innovate marketing activities that can help secure new business.
Conduct market research to identify new Clients within your vertical segment (territory) : target accounts
Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
Arrange business meetings with prospective Clients and Key Accounts to discuss and qualify their requirements
Qualify potential business deals by analysing deal requirements, financials of your targeted account, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities, all along the sales process till deals closing.
Creating and maintaining a pipeline of leads and new business opportunities
Act as the point of contact for clients within SEEBURGER organisation
Prepare sales proposals and contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and company guidelines
Stay up-to-date with new features and product launches and follow best practices; read professional publications; maintain personal networks; participate in professional organizations
Monitor and regularly Report on personal sales prospection and activity
Resolve problems and handle Customers complaints in a timely manner
Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
3-5 years' experience within a new Business Development role, selling Enterprise Software solutions (ideally B2B Integration / CRM / Supply Chain / similar)
Understanding how to sell Solution & Services, not merely a boxed product
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
Proven sales track record
All though this is a Field Sales Role, we would love to see candidates with a strong Inside Sales background
Need to be able to network, including setting up meetings with the practice and technology leaders for the IT areas, client partners, and business lines to bring in our management to meet them on a regular basis
Willing to work in an entrepreneurial local environment with a global team, fluent in English language, any German language skills would be a major benefit. Other language skills would be a plus.
