Develop new and existing customers in the European pharma business segment through the promotion of West products and services
Grow the business profitability through successful selling and promotion of both core and value-added products/services
Establish effective relationships with key personnel/decision makers in assigned customer accounts
Develop a thorough understanding of both new and assigned accounts' business objectives, products and related market activities
Proactively lead a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including management resources, in order to meet the accounts performance objectives and expectations
Lead price and contract negotiations as appropriate/directed
Support forecasting process as well as maintain customers' database and sales tools
Your Profile:
Academic degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or Chemistry
Minimum 5 years of experience in Key Account Management in a B2B environment; experience in a pharmaceutical environment would be an advantage
Strong commercial acumen, analytical and report writing skills
Experience in an international and multicultural environment is a pre-requisite
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with strong customer focus
High level of personal responsibility as well as strong organization and priorization skills
Readiness to regular travel
Fluent in English and German (verbal and written)
