EMEA Payroll Supervisor (f/m/d)

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Supervise, coach and develop payroll team
Ensure accurate and timely payroll execution with your team
Responsibility for multiple EMEA countries
Step in and act as a backup for selected EMEA countries if required
Manage employee query process and act as point of escalation
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (outsourced payroll vendor, HR, Benefits, Stocks and Global Mobility Teams, authorities and auditors) and be proactive in building and maintaining good relation- and partnerships
Ensure flawless communication within your team, the business and employees
Improve and ensure adherence to the payroll process controls, compliance and SOX
Develop and maintain policies related to payroll processes and identify areas of non-compliance
Evaluate internal work processes and service deliveries, make recommendations and manage implementing changes for improved efficiencies
Manage and lead payroll relevant projects by partnering with various teams (leverage of systems and tools, legal changes, M&A activities)
Adhere to the Company values and behaviours and maintain high ethical standards


Qualified commercial education
+5 years professional experience in complex payroll executing - preferably in shared service teams
+2 years experience as people manager
Experience in working for a large company and dealing with high volumes of tasks and processes in a fast paced working environment
Comprehensive knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements in various EMEA countries
Good understanding of complex payroll specificities such as benefits, equity and shadow/hypo tax
Detail-, deadline- and goal-oriented
Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
Competence to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
Reliability, engagement, flexibility and excellent ability to work in virtual teams
Professional use of MS Office, particularly a high standard of Excel and Outlook
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Fluent in spoken and written English, other languages are appreciated
