Currently we are seeking a talented Customer Data Hub Manager to be a part of the Pacific Life's Enterprise Customer Data Hub Center of Excellence (CDH CoE). This team is creating the next generation platform for managing Customer Data as an asset for Pacific Life's business units, to enable a single company customer obsessed experience for Pacific Life customers.

The team is utilizing cloud based technologies to build the platform and is charting the course of innovation to stand up new data management capabilities for Pacific Life. As part of CDH CoE, you will work closely with PL's Next gen CRM CoE and other enterprise initiative teams defining the future for Pacific Life.

This individual will be a technically competent, cloud infrastructure experienced hands-on manager responsible for build and support operations for the Enterprise Customer Data Hub platform. They will have agile methodology experience and be responsible for managing the CDH demand portfolio and capacity allocation to deliver high business value project portfolio utilizing CDH platform capabilities.

They will develop and manage effective strategic vendor partnerships for capacity sourcing and for tool/platform solution providers. Will liaison with and oversee day-to-day operations for managed services providers and staff. Success in the role would require open communication and effective collaboration with CDH stakeholders, senior management, direct reports and other business/technology teams across Pacific Life.

POSITION SUMMARY

•Ensure development activity and support operations are run on time, on budget to meet the evolving demands of business. Establish and monitor SLAs for the managed services. Establish and ensure compliance to high standards of reliability and efficiency of operations
•Ensure the CDH platform is well architected to meet the performance, reliability, security, functionality and operational effectiveness and cost optimization requirements. Maintain a progressive outlook, study industry developments and suggest capabilities enhancements opportunities for CDH
•Manage the demand portfolio and capacity allocation for the incoming demand for projects and ad-hoc requests for Enterprise CDH team utilizing portfolio management principles
•Manage, provide coaching and mentoring for a geographically distributed team comprising analysts, engineers, platform administrators and other technical resources. Team would include employee roles and roles sourced through managed services providers
•Ensure compliance to appropriate policies, standards, and audit requirements. Ensure periodic review to refresh and enhance standards and processes as necessary
•Provide oversight for the cost of operations for the CDH platform and provide input to the annual budgeting process

FACTORS FOR SUCCESS

•Minimum 10 years experience in data management and data integration industry
•Minimum 3 years in a management/ people leadership role
•Minimum 2 years experience with cloud based data management services and platforms
•AWS certifications desired
•Experience managing geographically distributed teams
•Experience with developing strategic partnerships and adaptive sourcing vendor relationship management
•Strong relational database and SQL skills
•Aptitute and willingness to experiment with and embrace new technologies
•Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast pace changing environment
•Proven facilitation, relationship building and negotiation skills.
•Strong team building, partnership and collaboration, and resource management skills
•A Bachelors degree in Information Systems/ Computer Science or equivalent field
•Financial industry experience preferred
