Pay Range: Starting at $45,000, DOQ Status: Full-time Reports To: Vice President for Community and Workforce Development (VPCWD) Direct Reports: None Teams: Staff, Grants, Nonprofit Development (NPD) Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to coordinate and support the Foundation's nonprofit development efforts including the Financial Resiliency (FR) program, Leaders Circles, St. Cloud and Brainerd Lunch-and-Learns, ifoundtraining and other cross-workgroup program integration efforts. A strong commitment to the vision, mission and values of the Foundation is essential as we work together to serve the communities of central Minnesota. Responsibilities: Program Oversight/Team Management (45%): Coordinates FR program development and delivery, serves as liaison to multiple participating organizations, and oversees staff and consultants involved. Coordinates Leaders Circles including recruiting and promotion, program delivery, facilitator training and management. Supervises and supports development and implementation of iFound training and other nonprofit capacity-building efforts. Coordinates quarterly St. Cloud and Brainerd Nonprofit Lunch-and-Learns in partnership with other local entities. Supports/mentors other Nonprofit Development team members.Training (30%): Develops, coordinates and delivers FR training components. Coordinates quarterly Leaders' Circle facilitator meetings. Identifies trainers and/or provides training at Nonprofit Lunch-and-Learns in St. Cloud and Brainerd. Assists with other Foundation programs as able.Technical Assistance/Resource Referral (20%): Serves as liaison to FR organizations providing technical assistance and resource referral as needed and ensuring compliance with program requirements. Facilitates one or more Leaders' Circles as time allows. Provides technical assistance and resource referral to inquiring nonprofits and to capacity-building and Innovation Fund grantees as appropriate and necessary. Other Duties (5%): Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor, President or members of Leadership Team. This may include conducting special projects, assisting with other Initiative Foundation training events, working on cross-work group teams, etc. Reviews Innovation Fund, nonprofit capacity-building grant applications. Coordinates the biennial Rural Poverty Grant process with the Central Minnesota Community Foundation. Conducts grant site visits, completes reviews and reports, and presents to the Board as needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Position requires knowledge and experience with nonprofit organizations and programs; proven ability with report writing and grant development and management; experience with staff management; strong written and oral communication skills; experience developing and delivering training workshops and facilitating groups; ability to identify organizational needs and provide technical assistance; and, ability to work independently and handle multiple deadlines. . Experience with nonprofit management, social enterprise and/or business planning, professional coaching, grant writing or reviewing. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree and three years' experience in related fields or equivalent combination. Travel to local and state locations is required. Requires a valid driver's license and insurance coverage or access to reliable transportation.
