The CNO is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the overall operations of nursing services in assigned areas, and for the oversight of all nursing care standards in other departments that utilize nursing services. This position consults with and advises the CEO on any issues relating to assigned areas of responsibility, fosters Olympic Medical Center's goals and objectives, follows the direction of Administration on assignment of special projects, and serves as a member of the Administrative Lead Team. Job Requirements: The qualified incumbent will hold a current RN license and be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. A Master's degree in nursing or health care related field is preferred. The incumbent must also have a minimum of five years' experience in a hospital or acute healthcare setting with a minimum of three to five years' experience in management demonstrating progressive scope of responsibility, preferably with experience in the Chief Nursing Officer role.
