We are looking for hard working and dedicated Room Attendants, who want to be part of a great Team. You will play an important role, in making sure the guest experience, is the best in Nashville. Our Hotel has 330 guest suites and is located in the heart of Nashville.
Essential Job Functions: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Responsible for the cleanliness of assigned number of rooms on a daily basisCleans and sanitizes guest bathrooms of assigned roomsChanges linens and makes bedsDetailed and general cleanliness (sanitation) of entire guest room, to include dusting, vacuumingSweeps and mops bathroom floor. Sanitation of bathtub/shower, sink area, toilet. Replenish amenities and towelsChecks under mattress and under bed for dust, forgotten items, etcCleans mirrors; Disinfects doorknobs, remote, telephoneMakes sure all rooms have a "Do not disturb" sign; compendium and/or guestroom collateral are replenished and in good conditionSprays air freshener in roomOther duties and responsibilities as assigned. The employee may be expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job descriptionMaintain a safe work environment for co-workers and a safe hotel for guests; please refer to Section 7.0 in the Associate Handbook for specific examples. Qualifications, Job knowledge, Experience, Skills, Abilities: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to communicate, verbally, effectively with guests and co-workers; respond to guest request Physical requirements of the position and work environment: · Must be able to walk, climb stairs · Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, twist & turn · Must use hands to reach, grasp, handle, pull and push · Must have good near and far vision · Must be able to hear, talk, smell · Must be able to lift & carry up to 50 pounds · Must be able to stand and walk for up to 5 hours and a total of 7 hours in an 8 hour shift. · Majority of duties performed indoors. Noise level moderate.
