Supervisory Responsibilities Manages two (2) or more employees in the operations programs. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Summary: The Hillcroft Industries Manager is the individual within the organization who, through the supervision of the DSPs and involvement with other staff members, bears primary responsibility for the total program of the workshop clients, including coordination of work, conduct and follow up activities. Essential Responsibilities: Train and coordinate activities of the Direct Support Professionals through the program management process to ensure: 1) the implementation of the overall program occurs 2) to ensure that staff are knowledgeable of what the organization seeks to accomplish, and 3) the implementation of innovative service approaches which meet the needs of each individual served. Serve as the records designee in relation to program manager process. Attend all meetings of all assigned clients to ensure that the ISP/PCISP policies and procedures are followed. Provide training or ensure training occurs for staff to ensure the competency level of each staff person in the workshop setting. Plan and implement the daily operation and the training experiences for clients served. Review all mandatory documentation to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met. Analyze financial progress of program throughout the year. Analyze and implement all applicable standards including but not limited to BQIS, DOL and CARF. Ensure that Direct Support Professionals implement the ISP/PCISP as it relates to their program. Assist the person served to become adequately orientated to his/her program through the Direct Support Professionals. Enable the person's program to proceed in an orderly, purposeful, and goal-directed manner. Promote the program's responsiveness to the needs and preferences of the person served. Ensure that the person served participates on an ongoing basis in discussions of plans, goals, status, etc. Ensure all DSPs have been client specifically trained. Complete intake process for assigned Hillcroft Industries' clients. Responsible to monitor client payroll entries, coordinate corrections with DSPs. Completes monthly NOA spreadsheet for Hillcroft Industries in Muncie. Negotiate Medicaid Waiver budgets for pre-vocational programming. Facilitate the exit/discharge process and arrangements for follow up and appropriate supportive services. Primary contact with the individual's Case Manager, Behavior Specialist, Residential Provider, family, guardians and any other staff outside of Hillcroft Services. Must be willing to work extra hours as needed. Mentor other staff on job responsibilities when appropriate. Act as backup for the DSPs. PAID LEAVE/TIME OFF/OTHER BENEFITS: Paid leave is for employees regularly scheduled for 30 hours/week. The paid leave is based on your actual scheduled hours Sick leave - 7 days/calendar year based on annual scheduled hours, prorated and eligible to use after 90 days employment. Vacation - may be used at 6 months, where you have earned a minimum of one week based on your annual scheduled hours. At the end of one year, you will have accumulated two weeks vacation. Personal Leave - 2 days/calendar year, based on annual scheduled hours, prorated and eligible to use after 90 days. Holidays - the agency pays for 10 holidays per year.
