Senior Design Release Engineer - Transmission Stacked Plate Heat Exchanger (SPHE) and Plumbing, Pontiac, MI, General Motors. Engr, validate, release, &assure strategic direction of U.S. &global conventional, semi-autonomous, &autonomous psgr vehicle SPHE &plumbing (transmission oil lines &coolant hoses) in 8/10 speed transmissions, &CVT, according to vehicle program timing reqmts, from concept to production, &aligned to meet performance, safety (incldg U.S. FMVSS), &strict technical ®ional reqmts &standards, using UGNX, Teamcenter, Vismockup &E2 tools. Conduct Component Modal Analysis to determine structure &sizing of heat exchangers, approve drawings &release them into production mfg system. Review &approve Change Management Process incldg, EWOs &Electronic Design Releases. Dvlp &validate transmission SPHE for Active Thermal Management to meet U.S. OBDII, CARB OBDII, &EuropeanOBD emissions regs. Bachelor, Mechanical or Automotive Engrg. 24 mos exp as Engineer, engrg &releasing psgr vehicle heat exchangers &plumbing (transmission oil lines &hoses to meet performance &safety (incldg U.S.FMVSS) reqmts, using UGNX, Teamcenter, Vismockup &E2 tools.
