EHR Interface Systems Analyst
The EHR interface systems analyst performs highly specialized, integrated, complex information systems analysis to provide application/technical system support for the Enterprise. Responsibilities include analysis, design, development, validation testing, support and maintenance of application integration, interfaces and infrastructure supporting critical clinical and business process for the Enterprise. The primary goal of the El Rio Health EHR Interface Systems Analyst is to support El Rio's Mission of providing comprehensive, quality health care that is affordable and accessible to all who may have healthcare needs, by successfully performing the primary essential functions.
Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in business administration, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, and Healthcare Informatics or related from an accredited University.Three (3) years' experience and knowledge in implementing and/or integrating healthcare or software applications1-2 years' experience and knowledge in Mirth and/or HL7 messaging standards, structure, and integration techniques. Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities: Master's Degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics or a related field from an accredited university.Five (5) years' experience and knowledge in implementing and/or integrating healthcare or software applicationsThree (3) years' experience and knowledge in Mirth and/or HL7 messaging standards, structure, and integration techniques. Knowledge of a physician practice management system and EMR or EHR system. Experience with NextGen. If applicable, equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered, and must be directly related to the functions and responsibilities of the job.
