Job Summary For a multinational biopharmaceutical company DOCS is hiring a Clinical Site Relationship Manager (m/f). If you want to develop further into Site Relations in the pharmaceutical industry and by doing so helping to improve treatment of today's biggest challenges to public health, than this might be for you. In this role you will be accountable for building and managing site relationships while overseeing site-level study start-up, conduct, and close-out activities outsourced to a CRO for global programs across different therapeutic areas. Roles & Responsibilities of the position The Clinical Site Relationship Manager (m/w) is responsible for providing operational expertise to sites through ownership/management of Site Engagement Strategy. The scope of this role includes the following: • Define and implement strategies for engaging clinical sites and investigators • Characterize and understand the attributes of a good clinical site versus a poor performing site • Engage clinical sites to develop build, and maintain relationships with investigators/staff to ensure continued performance and capitalize on site expertise • Evaluate, screen and develop high quality investigative sites to support clinical development programs • Ensure collaboration with key internal & external stakeholders, as well as third party vendor • Ensure industry best practices consistent with all applicable guidelines and regulations • Identify business improvement opportunities that overall enhance site engagement capabilities Job Requirements • Medical or Life Sciences degree or equivalent qualification • Good oral & written communication in English and German • 5 or more years of experience in clinical research in pharma or biotech company or CRO • Experience in site relations or investigator facing roles highly preferred • Neurology and Immunology experience is a plus • Thorough knowledge of ICH GCP and applicable local regulations • Demonstrated experience of working directly with clinical sites and investigators • Demonstrated solid relationship building • Demonstrated good negotiation and presentation skills • Highly self-motivated & proactive • Position requires mainly domestic and sporadically international travel of about 50% of time Remuneration & other details • Competitive salary • Permanent contract via DOCS • Full time, fully home based or office based • Pension scheme • Long term perspective • Chance to work with a very successful pharma sponsor Why this vacancy is right for you: DOCS is the FSP division of ICON Clinical Research.
