R&D Technologist in Product Development (m/f/d)
for our Innovation / New Product Development team to develop innovative and unique yeast-based solutions for Animal Feed and Health. The role and your tasks Developing next generations of yeast-based / enzyme-derived products to improve health
Execute bench-scale experiments, and develop up-scalable processes
Conceive, plan, develop, and evaluate technical projects in the areas of animal feed / health along with other development teams
Recommendation and / or implementation of new analytical methods to test benefits of new products
Effectively organise, interpret, and present data to colleagues, cross functional teams and senior leadership
Staying up-to-date with new trends and technical developments by monitoring literature, competitors' activities, new methods and new products for animal health / animal feed
Your profile MSc. in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Immunology, or similar degree
Several years of experience in similar position or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in enzymatic conversions, enzymology and biocatalysis is required
Knowledge in immunology and familiarity with probiotics / prebiotics (their applications and modes of action) is a plus
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects as a team player with good deal of autonomy
Very good analytical and experimentation skills
Ability to deliver clear, compelling and effective technical presentations
Innovativeness combined with business acumen
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Good command of English, both spoken and written
Basic knowledge of German
