The position is a part of the Accounting, Reporting and Cost Control team ensuring accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of financial accounting, reporting of the bank. The position holder will report to the Head of Accounting, Reporting and Cost Control.
Main responsibilities: Supporting the cash desk and accounts payable function Assisting with the monthly, quarterly and year end closing process Preparation of local and group reporting packages and related analysis Preparation, filing and control of various internal/external statistics/reports Supporting process improvements, as appropriate Performing other tasks and involvement in other projects as assigned by the Department Head
Required Experience/Skills/Qualification Swiss / EU passport or valid Swiss work permit Multiple years of experience in an accounting or controlling function of an international bank or a financial services company Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivots, Macros, etc.) Avaloq experience is a plus Well organized working style with attention to detail is a must Ability to work efficiently in a small team and interact effectively across different departments Flexible, self-disciplined, motivated personality Fluent in English, German is an advantage
