Associate, Finance, Projects and Restructuring (all PQE levels)

We are currently recruiting for associates to join DLA Piper's global Financial Services team, to be based in Dublin.
We have the resources to represent clients in large banking and commercial transactions, as well as to meet their needs in regulatory, public policy and enforcement areas. Our lawyers are located in all major capital markets and in the regulatory centres of Washington, DC and Brussels. We also advise clients on banking legal issues in higher risk and growth markets.
Our clients include asset managers, building societies, capital markets and their participants, investment banks, national regulators, private banks, private equity firms, professional services organisations engaged principally in financial services and retail banks.
Successful candidates will support partners and be provided with expert guidance to develop their careers on an international platform, working across a broad range of industries and advising clients on the management of cross border disputes.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working as part of our highly regarded team, candidates will enjoy a broad diet of work that will cover our core services including:
conducting major research, depending on client needs
managing deal teams and processes from initial discussions through closing and post-closing matters
acting as a primary point of contact for clients; and
managing and conducting due diligence
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

The ideal candidate will:
have strong technical skills, with an international awareness and focus to their work
be able to demonstrate an excellent academic record and the ability to manage more junior lawyers
be able to create and deliver sustainable, high quality client service whilst also considering clients' wider business objectives; and
be keen to get involved in business development and help drive the Irish practice forward.
