Job purpose: You would develop cutting edge information and knowledge management solutions to advance the mission of Novartis by leveraging technology as a critical tool to accomplish goals. You would deliver value added knowledge through automated systems that synthesize scientific, business, and intellectual information to Novartis partners Key Responsibilities : • Develop new components for our innovative platform for solving problems with large amounts of external data • Liaise with key customer groups to ensure quality excellence and an optimized user experience • Awareness of major information technology providers • Evaluate and recommend new information platforms and search tools • Use of technology to synthesize information into accurate answers or actionable information for clients across scientific and business disciplines • Deliver appropriate metrics to continually measure quality to demonstrate the value of and continually improve information sources and services • Apply and manage taxonomies in the Knowledge Center's digital infrastructure • Apply rapid prototyping to propose new methods to deliver optimized solutions • Create user-centered designs utilizing new UX/UI concepts and design trends • Execute strong computational problem-solving skills, ability to deal with ambiguity, and exceedingly high level of creativity • Proficient in multiple technologies: search, database, open source and semantic systems • Intermediate /Advanced level of understanding of project management principles to lead and complete projects working independently • Agile PM a must • Identify technical trends both within and external to Knowledge Management that impact projects and propose new project ideas About Novartis: About the Novartis Global Service Centre in Dublin: The Novartis Global Service Center (NGSC), Dublin, was set up in 2013 and is located in a state-of-the-art facility on the Merrion Road in Ballsbridge.
