Our client - an international organisation in Geneva- is looking to recruit:(Temporary 10 months) Senior Finance Manager, Country Programme Grants Tasks & Responsibilities Financial / accounting guidance and recommendations provided to other Secretariat Teams,Manage approvals and payments of programmes,Manage reporting of disbursements, approvals and commitments of country programmes,Assist in preparation of Board and other committee papers,Responsible for the preparation of input to the Audit Finance Committee and Board papers,Ensure strong and effective controls and procedures,Finance partner for all Secretariat teams for all financial aspects relating to country programmes and investment cases,Provide financial and accounting guidance on options and recommendations on new programmatic developments,Ensure monthly and year-end close is performed timely and accurately,Relationship manager with external partners,Provide any other ad-hoc reports as/when required. Education & Personal Skills Qualified Accountant (CPA or equivalent) required,Advanced university Degree in the field of the position, Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible work experience in grant accounting, accounting, and financial systems,Experience in working with US GAAP and/or IFRS,Experience in reconciling complex projects and programmes,Fluent in English
