Management of Privacy issues, i.e.: -Advises and informs responsible managers and employees about the processing of personal data -Supports the further formalization and realization of an appropriate level of data protection and the use of appropriate technology and methods -Supervises the documentation, reporting and reporting of possible breaches of the security of personal data Management of Internal and External queries / complaints / DSRs Reporting to Corporate and regular LPO meetings Continual alignment Privacy Organization. i.e. monthly meetings/ sharing updates/ ongoing training and awareness activities. -Monitoring compliance with laws and regulations and internal policies on the processing of personal data -Responsible for (further) implementing the strategic policy of Corporate regarding data processing Maintaining data register Tracking local compliance for all processing new or existing. Regular audit and evaluation of internal procedures, guidelines and policies. Being contact person for the local Data Protection Authority
Profile The LPO does need to have in-depth understanding of GDPR and E-Privacy concepts, preferable Certified (CIPP, CIPM or FG) Have a good understanding of the complexity of the applications architecture at WKBE, WKNL, KLI, Effacts and Kleos. Be aware of general data management aspects Be(come) familiar with the majority of local BU organisations and processes Be calm under pressure, a good communicator, pragmatic with common sense Be structured and a good organizer Possess the ability to perform tasks in an independent manner, strict and authoritative and free from conflict of interest. Proficient in Dutch, French and English
Subject to the Assumptions and having consulted with colleagues from Belgium, Poland and the Netherlands we come to the conclusion that the combined LPO profile for Belgium and the Netherlands will consume 40-50% fulltime per country.
