Further details can be found under:
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to perform development/improvement of either new analytical methods or existing methods by means of state-of-the-art mass spectrometry techniques (GC-MS, LC-MS/MS). The work is focused on methods for biomarkers of exposure to toxic chemicals in different biological matrices like urine or plasma. Activities and responsibilities Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
Ability to develop and validate new analytical methods (including sample clean up, chromatography and data analysis) by means of LC-MS/MS and/or GC-MS (non-targeted as well as targeted analytical methods)
Ability to optimize existing analytical methods with the focus on sensitivity and sample throughput
Responsibilities in our internal QM-system (ISO 17025, GLP)
Supporting our routine analysis platforms
The publication of results belongs to your tasks and will be supported
Qualification profile Requirements
Applicants should possess a PhD-degree in analytical chemistry or related relevant fields with a strong background in mass spectrometric techniques (preferably GC-MS and LC-MS/MS).
Experience in extraction methods for biological sample material (plasma, urine, saliva etc.)
Experience in analytical method development and validation within a regulated environment (GLP, ISO 17025)
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Highly motivated team player who also can work independently
Knowledge with non-targeted analysis including biostatistics is a plus
