Chemical / Process Engineer (Decommissioning)

Process Engineer is responsible for providing technical and chemical engineering leadership to the site to help achieve the successful planning for the Site Decontamination Works.
Highly regulated operation requiring compliance with relevant aspects of Quality, Safety and Environmental regulations and standards.
Work outside normal hours may apply occasionally e.g. periods when there is high level of project activity.
Working in a project environment which will require interaction with a wide range of different disciplines which are driven by adherence to milestone schedules defined by project managers.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
Key Performance Indicators
Generation of PFDs.
Generation of P&IDs.
Generation of process descriptions for the Decontamination & Decommissioning Phases.
Generation of decommissioning and dequalification documentation and support the execution of these tests.
Close out of commissioning and qualification documentation
Participate in Process Hazard Assessments/HAZOP studies and cGMP reviews.
Control of project change requests/change orders.
Troubleshooting and problem solving plant issues.
Training personnel on plant and equipment.
Attend weekly project meetings.
Accuracy of work.
Meeting project process design and schedule milestones.
Adherence to Project budgets.
Effective and co-operative member of the Process Engineering team - favourable comment from Head of Process Engineering and project managers.
Education, Experience and Training
~2+ year's experience of chemical engineering preferably in a decommissioning/commissioning and production support role.
Pharmaceutical industry experience.
Previous experience in working in a commissioning project team executing the commissioning activities
