National Call Center Manager

SunSource, headquartered in Addison, Illinois, is one of North Americas leading fluid power distribution companies, providing products, services and information in hydraulics, pneumatics, filtration, automation systems, and related industrial components, serving both the industrial, OEM, MRO, mobile equipment, and fluid process markets.

Reporting to the Director of Sales Force Expansion, the National Call Center Sales Manager will use your previous sales experience to manage management of a National Sales Call Center, which is an outbound call operation to maximize growth and profitability through lead generation programs.

Major areas of focus include establishing and annual business plan and operating procedures, managing the team to reach business objectives, and collaborating with all departments within the company to meet the sales goals of the business units. This individual will also have responsibility for government business as well as training, developing and coaching the inside sales team into a future role in outside sales.

Requirements

  • Education - 4 year degree preferred (Technical, Marketing or Business); 2 year Technical degree minimum
  • Experience - Minimum 5 years of increasingly responsible sales management experience with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred. Proven ability to coach, motivate, and manage a sales group to achieve their sales goals is required. Must be able to influence and persuade. 10-15% travel required.
