We are looking for an innovator in the learning and development space to create and manage custom experiences that meet the needs of our growing organization. In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn, develop and grow. Ultimately, you will help our company succeed by developing our workforce and leadership capabilities.
The role is responsible for creating and executing learning development strategies throughout the organization to improve organizational effectiveness. This position assesses talent development needs to drive training initiatives, identifies and arranges training solutions to improve the productivity and engagement of our associates. Lead learning strategies and programs: Create and execute learning strategies across broad organization. Incorporate into this strategy various learning methods company-wide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training, etc.)
Perform Needs Assessment: Conducts regular training and development needs assessment to evaluate organizational needs with the goal to develop and define minimum standards for competency development by position. Design and deliver surveys and tests that will identify overall skill level as well as skill gaps.
Develop and Enhance Associate Curriculum: Review and evaluate existing training curriculum design and update to reflect needs identified in training needs assessment. Develop role specific curriculum for positions without existing plans.
Research Available Resources and Technology: Review and evaluate available training programs and training resources offered by current partners, vendors, suppliers or outside agencies, in addition to the products/systems we have on-hand. Evaluate and implement LMS technology to deliver and track training across organization. Establish training catalog of available courses, training aids and calendar of training sessions available.
General Education and Experience:
- Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related degree.
- Experience7-10 years or more of learning and development experience preferred.
- Certifications - Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
