You will take pride in bringing an unwavering commitment to meeting project milestones on time, on budget and with a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction. You are highly intelligent, energetic, result-oriented, proactive and focused.
In this position, you will conduct ADEA's ongoing educational research activities and expand the visibility and application of that research. These current ongoing activities include:
Legacy surveys and data collections:
ADEA Survey of Graduating Seniors (annual)
ADEA Faculty Salary and Vacancies (annual)
ADEA Applicants and Enrollees reporting (annual)
Additional surveys to meet future needs

Creating and maintaining an interactive dashboard for ADEA members.
Ad hoc surveys and analyses for specific business services and upon member request.
Presentations at ADEA-sponsored programs and events of other associations and groups.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to deliver in-depth analyses and enable the visualization of those analytics through the refinement of existing or development of new reports and "dashboards" that provide data to support ADEA's member institutions.
Research, Analytics and Data Presentation
Provide oversight and hands-on expertise in data analytics including measurement frameworks, reporting, dashboards and outcomes assessment.
Create and deliver effective communications that synthesize analyses and conclusions in written reports and oral presentations to members and broader health professions education audiences.
Employ a full range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, both via traditional modes as well as developing areas such as social networks, observational tools and online communities to analyze data and disseminate information internally and externally.
Convene and lead assigned Association committees such as the Policy and Research Advisory Committee.
Serve as ADEA staff liaison to external committees such as the Joint Advisory Committee on Dental Education Information (with the American Dental Association (ADA)) and others as assigned.
Management and Operations
Design and manage projects that meet milestones on time, on budget and with a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
Recruit, mentor, and retain a small but highly skilled technical staff, motivate them to act as a unified team on an ongoing basis and support a performance-based culture.
Identify, negotiate with, and monitor performance of external vendors critical to ERA and ADEA data operations.
Ensure that new technology and data applications, software and systems in ERA are compatible with Association operations, scalable to future needs, and not redundant.
Ensure protocols to ensure data integrity and security are documented, followed and reviewed annually for updates; conduct and report root cause analyses when expectations are not met, or data is compromised.
Develop the annual Education and Research Analysis budget and monitor at least monthly with reports of variances to the Chief Policy Officer.
Collaborate successfully with other ADEA staff to produce final publications for print and electronic distribution.
