Conducts administrative and process activities for Quality departmental program initiatives. This would include satisfying payments, collections and/or reporting requirements. Helps identify operational improvement opportunities through reporting and/or trend analysis. Supports other team members where appropriate. Produces reports for invoices, payments and accruals as necessary. Participates on other department related processes.

Reports To: Director Quality Improvement

Essential Functions:

  • Conducts functions required to meet department program requirements.
  • Processes monthly/quarterly reports within established timelines.
  • Coordinates with management to ensure paperwork is processed within required timeframes.
  • Obtains appropriate data and reporting from various plans.
  • Assists in evaluating financial impact of implemented initiatives.
  • Responds to information/research requests received from other Plans.
  • Assists in the development of ad hoc reports for data analysis and validation.
  • Responds to information/research requests received from other Plans.
  • Assists in the preparation of detail and summary level reports including written interpretation of analytic results.
  • Contributes to special projects and assist other areas as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates obtaining W9s & check/ACH payment information from other Plans and coordinating payments with Treasury/AP.
  • Coordinates with management & AP/Treasury to ensure signed paperwork and payments are processed within required timeframes.
  • Tracks payments received by monitoring ACH transaction and gathering check payment documents.

Candidate Education:

  • Required A Bachelor's Degree in a related field finance / business
  • Required or equivalent work experience 1 year of experience in a finance or business related position
Candidate Experience:
  • Preferred Other finance or business environment
Candidate Skills:
  • Beginner Ability to analyze and interpret financial data in order to coordinate the preparation of financial records
  • Beginner Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from peers and management
  • Intermediate Ability to multi-task
  • Intermediate Ability to work as part of a team
Licenses and Certifications:
A license in one of the following is required:
    Technical Skills:
    • Required Intermediate Microsoft Excel
    • Required Beginner Microsoft Access
    • Required Beginner Microsoft PowerPoint
    • Required Beginner Microsoft Outlook
