Key duties & responsibilities:
The key purpose of this role is to implement processes in order to define policies and procedures in regards to Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) reporting and associated interactions, on behalf of Lowell and subsequently manage these processes ensuring adherence from all areas.
The successful applicant will become the subject matter expert on all areas of the Credit Bureau Reporting processes and amendments providing guidance and support on regulatory/compliance issues to numerous stakeholders both internally and externally specifically around SCOR guidance.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Establish and maintain a control framework to ensure accuracy of data submitted to the Credit Reference Bureau on behalf of the company.
Undertake management review and sign off of credit bureau reporting and system monthly reporting activities, ensuring compliance to external SCOR Guidance on reporting.
To be involved in the due diligence and on boarding process relating to Credit Reference Bureau advising and guiding both the company and clients in relation to CRB reporting.
Maintain and analyse monthly credit bureau audit reports and systems statistical reports in order to highlight exceptions and errors whilst recommending on the remediation of such errors.
Develop and present technical based enhancements specific to credit bureau and systems reporting requirements.
Review business requirement documents from the organisation and client in order to provide functional specifications impacting credit bureau and systems reporting to ensure total adherence to best practice and industry guidance.
Develop and maintain an expert understanding of pertinent operating systems and operations impacting credit bureau reporting to ensure complete awareness of potential change impacts.
Track efforts to remediate credit bureau and systems reporting issues as they are encountered. Schedule and facilitate status meetings with IT and business subject matter experts to resolve reporting deficiencies.
Participate in Technology and/or vendor-related project meetings specific to credit bureau reporting to ensure continued compliance with changing requirements
To manage and priorities quality checks in relation to data supplied within the company monthly output files, ensuring adherence to the Steering Committee On Reciprocity principles and guidelines.
Liaising with CRBs in order to drive effective and efficient resolution for any customer queries or disputes regarding the company's monthly reporting files.
To build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in all aspects of CRB reporting.
Primary point of contact for the company and external stakeholders with queries relating to the Credit Reference Bureau file submissions and data disputes.
To define, produce and publish detailed MI reporting to senior management on bureau reporting and associated issues and risks.
To manage data relationships for all CRBs in relation to bureau reporting.
Attendance at regulatory internal and external meetings regarding Credit Reference Bureau reporting.
To represent the company at external Data Quality and Reciprocity working parties.How do we say thank you?

Experience in CRB reporting and/or CRB amendments processing
Understanding of industry rules around Reciprocity and SCOR guidelines
Can demonstrate a solid understanding of the processes within the Sales, On-boarding, Audit and Compliance Teams that impact CRB reporting.
Externally facing client relationship with Credit Reference Bureau or similar
Experienced in presenting to multi-level stakeholders
Previous experience of Debt Purchase operations
Knowledge of Financial Conduct Authority - Consumer Credit Sourcebook (including but not limited to CONC (phone number removed)
The ability to suggest improvements to business processes and procedures, in relation to Credit Bureau Reporting to enable the company to work more effectively
