What to know about this role?
The Infrastructure Architect who will play a key role in Swinton's new IT Integration and Transformation programme. This is a rapidly changing environment and will suit individuals who thrive off making a difference. The Infrastructure Architect will be responsible for ensuring that Group infrastructure services are designed and delivered efficiency and in compliance with regulatory and internal policy. The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for the production of detailed infrastructure designs, ensuring solutions are robust and congruent with the IT strategy. They will be central to the ongoing development, integration and continuous improvement of infrastructure services, signposting opportunities to leverage emerging technologies/trends in infrastructure operations.
Who do you report into?
You will report into the Head of IT Infrastructure for Swinton.
What projects will you be working on?
Single Data Centre solution - working in a hybrid model (strategic integration, connectivity, application, hosting)
Cloud based solutionWhat skills & experience do you require?
Previous experience as an infrastructure architect, producing detailed configuration designs for several of the following;
SCCM and associated hosting technologies
Monitoring and alerting
High degree of operational (business and technology) awareness, and can generate positive outcomes through the change they are delivering
Highly motivated / motivational to see success, delivered via their efforts and collaboration with peers
Strong Stakeholder Management skills
Previous experience of working with On Premise or Cloud Solutions
Experience of working with Third Party suppliers
Proactive in understanding emerging technologies in an infrastructure operations environmentWho are your key relationships?
