One of the fastest growing businesses in the UK (who compete with Amazon for being the most technologically advanced e-commerce business) is looking for a number of permanent Project Design Managers to join their team. The business is revolutionary and is now selling their technology to other businesses to help them build and implement automated distribution centres across the world.
As a Project Design Manager you'll sit within their Automated Warehouse design team - this team is at the forefront of technology within automation and ensures clients maximise their productivity. You'll work with clients to identify and develop all business processes, equipment and automation requirements - to summarise, you'll be responsible for developing the concept design of the operational areas of automated warehouses and then project manage the development of the design across the wider design team and business.
To succeed in the role of Project Design Manager you don't necessarily have to have been an Engineer but you definitely will have experience of engineering or project management within a Materials Handling Equipment business (ideally within logistics, warehousing, distribution and FMCG).
