Our Client is an independently owned wealth management group.
The Financial Planning Assistant opportunity will work closely with the financial planning team and will provide administrative support to the different areas of the Financial Planning Team. A level of financial planning technical knowledge is required, demonstrated by an interest to progress towards financial planning industry qualifications.
The Financial Planning Assistant will review client files & client correspondence in order that static data can be updated.
Preparation of simple client valuations.
Submit & track new financial planning business.
Prepare quotes & financial planning illustrations using various systems.
Produce analysis to support private client investment reviews.
Resolution of straightforward queries with providers on behalf of clients & consultants.
Composition of letters to clients & providers.
At least 6 months Financial Planning Support experience
A real interest to career progress within financial planning / wealth management
CII Certificate in Financial Planning or similar suitable Level 3 qualification - would be beneficial, exams will be supported
Capable of undertaking the responsibilities of a Client Administrator when required.
Highly numerate with a good level of English grammar & spelling.
Ability to organise & prioritise.
Competent user of Microsoft Excel & Word
