About the role
They are looking for an IT specialist to maintain the Groups computing environment by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; maintaining firewalls, switches and associated servers, managing and maintaining the VoIP telephony system and monitoring network performance.
This role will provide overall management and operational support of the network infrastructure (LAN/WAN) and contributes to the advancement of ICT and other digital initiatives in support of the strategic direction of the Group.
They want somebody who has:
Networks design and implementation experience
Networks performance tuning and troubleshooting experience
3+ years of experience of LAN and WAN, VPN, Software Defined Networking (SDWAN), WatchGuard & Cisco firewalls and load balancers, telecoms, VoIP, Mitel, Cisco and Cloud VoIP technologies and systems
Experience of working with Housing Management Systems
Experience of administering storage area networks (SAN)
Experience of relevant backup and recovery technologies (disk, SAN, tapes).
Experience in server (Physical and Virtual) support including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy and Database SQL Administration.
Experience of implementing Cyber Security Standards against ever advancing threats – Network Infrastructure Hardening.
Experience of the ITIL change and incident processes, and the ability to assess potential network impacts of technical changes.
Experience in performance tuning of applications and networks.
Experience with web content filtering technology - policy engineering and troubleshooting
