We now have an exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the South Wests leading employers as an Electrical / ICA Technician for our team based at our Stithians Water Treatment Works.
Joining our team, the Electrical / ICA technician will assist in the installation, repair and maintenance of the operational plant, process power and control systems. You'll plan, prioritise and carry out works to the satisfaction of the planned maintenance delivery system, Maintenance & FSC Manager and the operations team as required.
You will be required to take part on standby and callouts on an Electrical / ICA standby rota.
The Ideal Electrical / ICA Technician:
- Formal Electrical qualification (City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC / HNC / HND)
- Compliant with current IEE Regulations
- Experience with VSD's, soft starts and motor control systems
- Good working knowledge of Low Voltage systems (working with 415vac down to 24vac and dc control and indication)
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
- Self motivated and willing to take responsibility for all aspects of work delivery
- A full UK driving license is required
