BelkavitzSloan are working as a recruitment partner to the UK's largest distributor of high-performance stainless steel and nonferrous metal flat and long products with full in-house processing facilities. This company is renowned for supplying products from the most reputable sources and servicing markets that require a high level of corrosion resistance including; oil and gas, petrochemical and nuclear.
With a workforce of over 1180 in the UK, 15 strategically located warehouses and processing centres and its own fleet of vehicles, this company has the geographic presence to meet specific customers’ demands when time is of the essence. Their strategic geography is coupled with technical innovation underpinned by some of the most sophisticated and powerful engineering technologies in the country.
Due to continued success and expansion, this company have a requirement for a Sales Executive to join the successful team based in the Leeds area. The principle function of the Sales Executive will be drive new business throughout the north of the UK with a focus on tier one OEM’s and end users within the designated territory.
. Develop business within the North of the UK with a focus on tier one OEM’s and end users.
. Grow existing accounts utilising the internal and external sales channels available
. Project manage key jobs from conception through to fulfilment including full after sale service
. Develop existing key accounts to maximise revenue and margin
. Identifying new business opportunities and generating leads
. Securing the chance to provide quotes for new clients and win their business
. Build relationships with key personnel within the businesses
. Nurture and grow new accounts in accordance with the organisations ambitious plans for growth
. Working alongside an external Business Development Manager to generate new business
Applicable applicants will have a proven track record of sales within the metals industry and a demonstrable track record of developing quality critical market sectors
