Logistics and Engineering Assistant

Based in Letchworth and reporting to the Financial Controller, the Logistics and Engineering Assistant will be working across different areas of the business. The role will entail warehouse responsibilities, for instance managing goods in/out, stock control and shipping. The role also includes supporting Finance and the Project Team with the generation of purchase orders, updating project spreadsheets and confirmation of delivery times. You will also be assisting the Head Of Systems Integration with the production of proposals, as and when required. This will include compilation of equipment lists and sourcing best prices and assisting in other areas of the bid process.
You will have excellent communication, organisational and negotiation skills with a 'can do' approach to all tasks undertaken. You will be required to keep a cool head under pressure, while maintaining the ability to prioritise, organise, and plan your workload to achieve the desired results. This position is full time, working 8.30am to 5.00pm, five days per week with the responsibility of opening the office each morning
