£19,000 - £21,000 DOE, FULL TIME HOURS
CITY CENTRE LOCATION
We are working with a client based in the Hull city centre to recruit for a Finance Assistant on a temporary basis. This role could lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.
Role and responsibilities
Banking/reconciliation monies received and paid (Data entry to Excel)
Credit control - Produce a daily summary of overdue invoices, send reminders
Produce summary of purchase invoice for payment, set up on line payments
Check and post purchase invoices
Check, post and issue sales invoices
Scan and file invoices plus supporting documentation
Dealing with accounting queries
VAT RETURNS ESSENTIAL
Sage 50 experience
Sales ledger experienceCandidate must have an accounting background with experience VAT returns.
