TECHNICAL INTERNAL SALES

CHIGWELL

Up to £30,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Responsibilities

To provide a high level of sales support by ensuring all queries are responded to in an efficient, professional and timely manner.

Follow-up of direct marketing campaigns to establish customer interest in the 'offer’

To run customer retention activities to grow sales periodically

Build knowledge of product specification so can advise customers accordingly (training will be given)

Complete pro-active sales telephone calls to contact existing customers

Apply various skills to capitalise on commercial opportunities

Effectively deal with telephone enquiries requesting quotations for products

Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary

Liaise between departments and customers to efficiently answer general enquiries concerning deliveries

Ensure all orders received are entered into the system accurately

Ensure that the external sales team are kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts

Dealing with incoming enquiries from existing clients and prospects by phone, email or fax.

Plan and prioritise customer / prospect contacts to ensure achievement of agreed sales targets

Managing regional customer accounts, and building professional working relationships to ensure generation of future sales

Have the ability to make outbound calls to lapsed customers and prospective clients

Promoting all product ranges and services to maximise client spend

Closing down lost enquiries effectively

Working on own initiative and providing customers with a quick response to problem solve any potential issues that would prevent a sale

Escalating Sales Opportunities to the Sales Manager / Managers

Identifying and contacting new sales leads

Keeping abreast of the latest products and develop a robust technical knowledge of the company’s products, to aid customers with their selection

Providing clients with quotations and product information as per requests

Working towards challenging but achievable KPI’s

Candidate Requirements

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships

High attention to detail and ability to solve problems using your own initiative

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong telephone and negotiation skills

Ability to work under pressure

Strong customer service skills
