BPS World is recruiting for a National Account Manager to join a leading national security provider in the UK and responsible for designing, installing, monitoring and servicing customers within various industries such as Industrial, government, commercial and residential.

This is a remote/field-based position that is a key hire for the business! As the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for growing their customer portfolio within the sectors of the segment you are assigned, developing relationships at all levels with new and existing customers.

Strong security solutions and account management experience are required for this position.

Major Responsibilities:

* Carry out sales activities for attracting new customers in your segment with a consultative-sales approach

* Visiting existing customers, assessing the situation at their installations, identifying new service needs

* Identifying new business opportunities, both amongst current and potential customers

* Controlling and following up your pipeline in order to ensure results are met in accordance with your sales targets

* Updating the CRM in order to follow up customers and for internal reporting

* Following up customers and their level of satisfaction with the security solutions procured (new projects and/or service contracts), resolving any possible incidents that may arise

Current/Prior Experience:

* Significant proven experience in sales, developing business with major customers through the sale of technological solutions, preferably in the security sector

* Detailed Knowledge of the range of services and solutions within the technology-security sector

* Sales and market-research techniques, winning and retaining new customers

* Knowledge of the security verticals (Ideally Commercial but not essential)

* Knowledge of decision roles and purchasing power in the security sector

* High standard of spoken and written English
