You're currently an Accounts Assistant, ideally within a manufacturing environment and have a proven background working with accounts. You've got strong interpersonal and communication skills and are looking for a new opportunity that will allow you to apply your skills to an operational role.
Rubicon Recruitment Group's client is an established and fast-growing business with an international customer base. It specialises in design, manufacture and software and provides bespoke solutions and product applications for clients. Due to sustained growth, they are looking to expand their team by hiring an Accounts Assistant who will act as a key member of the operations team. The role offers flexible working hours and consists of tasks relating to accounts, sales support and general administration, so would really suit someone eager for variety.
As Accounts Assistant, you'll have strong attention to detail and good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. You'll be proficient in Excel, may have experience in software akin to Quickbook Accounts and will act as a support to the rest of the team and management.
As Accounts Assistant, your specific responsibilities will include:
Accounts related duties such as acting as purchase and sales ledger, BACS payments, bank reconciliation and processing sales invoices
Monitoring costs against budget for sales and general overheads
Checking VAT and submission of quarterly returns
HR Responsibilities including payroll, holiday and sickness processing and credit control
Handling and resolving client queries
