A Global FTSE500 retailer is going through a huge digital transformation as they look to build out their online presence. Therefore, they are looking for a .Net Developer to help with a rebuild of their E-commerce application using technologies such as .Net Core.
The position will involve building new features and functionality for their platform; this will include: search, payments and log in. The .Net Developer will have the opportunity to research new tools and technologies to drive improvements to their platform and architecture.
The platform team which you will be joining is predominantly full-stack, although you will be more focused on the back end. You will be working in a very high standards team integrating closely with QA and DevOps to help with a migration towards microservices using Docker.
The Successful .Net Developer will have:
Experience building out a web application
You will need a solid understanding of SQL
Experience following best practices and unit testing their code
An awareness of security considerations: SQL injection or XSS
