As the Accounts Assistant, you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:
Provide all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for our developments and customers.
You are looking for your first role in a finance environment or could be currently studying for a finance qualification, and wanting to work in a fast-paced, exciting organisation.
Being self-motivated and passionate means you are continually looking to learn and develop, and are naturally inquisitive with a problem solving attitude.
Ideally, you will have knowledge of the basic principles of double entry booking keeping, accruals and prepayments as well as a high attention to detail with the ability to see and challenge information.
Communication comes naturally to you, and you have MS Excel skills to an intermediate level.

Accurate and timely preparation and distribution of Service Charge accounts
Accurate and timely preparation and distribution of property budgets
Providing the best possible outcome from accounting queries for our customers and for FirstPort
Problem solving and troubleshooting to maintain a smooth workflow
Contributing to the team with creative ideas and a positive attitude
Internally this role will be called Scheme Accountant
