This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join an established aerospace business. Working with a range of materials, tooling and equipment you will be able to cut, bend and straighten metal. Using you experience you will be able to shape metal using various forms including using a variety of techniques. As well as this you will be responsible for inspecting, assembling and smoothing seams and joints of welded, brazed or burred surfaces.
To be considered for the Sheet Metal Worker position, you must meet the following requirements:
A working history of sheet metal work ideally within an aerospace environment
Experience of working with various materials including titanium, stainless steel, jethete, nimonics and others
Ability to visual inspect and quality check work and documentation in relation to drawings, work cards and technical paperwork
Willing to work a rotating shift patternAs the successful Sheet Metal Worker, you will maintain brilliant housekeeping practises which are in line with the Company 5s standards with an ability to comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures. This role offers a starting salary of £32,556.00 which is inclusive of shift allowance with various overtime opportunities.
