Internal Sales - Account Manager

An established and rapidly growing Manufacturer based in Portsmouth is looking to grow their sales team.

An exciting full time opportunity for an Internal Salesperson has arisen to become part of our successful sales team based at a Portsmouth Head Office.

The company is now looking for a talented, tenacious & enthusiastic Internal Sales Account Manager to sell the company`s full exterior lighting product range, expand business with existing electrical wholesalers, and encourage repeat business as well as pro-actively calling & winning new business opportunities from electrical wholesalers nationwide.

The Internal Sales Account Manager will be the first port of call for our customers and their clients. It is very important for our customers to feel valued and so our every call must be treated with the upmost importance & professionalism

Key Role Responsibilities:

- Winning new business using a focused pro-active sales approach to dealing with incoming enquiries

- Gaining new customers & sales through pro-active daily calls to electrical wholesalers

- Ability to work to and exceed a weekly target of sales

- Ability to work to and exceed weekly Key Performance Targets

- Ensuring high levels of customer service throughout every enquiry and sales call

- Liaising with manufacturing to ensure all orders are correct and on time

- Manage and develop a database of electrical wholesalers which includes sales values, quote values, conversion rates and customer feedback on product and pricing

- Manage and develop a pipeline of electrical wholesalers which includes sales values, quote values, conversion rates and customer feedback on product and pricing

- Report directly to Head of UK Sales

Experience

· Ideally knowledge of the lighting or Electrical marketplace

· Experience of selling to wholesalers (preference not essential)

· A track record of account management and internal sales (essential)

· Business to Business (B2B) Sales experience (essential)

· Strong commercial acumen, work ethic and excellent organisational skills (essential)

Hours of Work

Our office hours are a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm with 1 hour lunch break

However you would be expected to work appropriate hours to ensure you fulfil your responsibilities and meet agreed targets

Salary £21,000 - £25,000 + Commission
