Full Stack Engineer - Cloud Services - AWS

Full Stack Engineer - Cloud Services, needed for our client based in Whiteley, Hampshire, who are looking to employ an experienced Full stack Engineer with an in-depth knowledge of designing / developing / integrating systems with significant IT infrastructure technologies (networking, telecommunications, computing, storage, virtualisation including containers) for the migration of products to the cloud, including Amazon web Services (AWS). You will need to be eligible for security clearance

Some of the main duties of the Full stack Engineer will include:

* Translate functional needs and desired capabilities into value-add technical solutions underpinned by short and long-term technical roadmaps that are aligned with the organisation's strategy and initiatives

* Provide technical contribution while operating within agile teams to design, implement, and support solutions that meet business objectives

* Liaise with customers to provide support for the cloud capability

* Support team members, architects, and other teams to migrate products to the cloud, including Amazon Web Services (AWS)

* Focus on meeting milestone deliverables by working with product owners and technical leadership to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems

* Document the international cloud environment, standards, processes, and practices

* Create, maintain, and modify infrastructure including automated builds, database migration validation, and automated verification testing

* Maximise repeatability using Infrastructure as code

* Write scripts to coordinate the building, packaging, and deployment of software

* Ensure software configuration management

What you need to be the successful Full Stack Engineer:

* Experience with designing / developing / integrating systems with IT infrastructure technologies (networking, telecommunications, computing, storage, virtualisation including containers)

* Ability to understand and troubleshoot interdependent software systems

* Knowledge of agile development processes from build through deployment

* Ability to document and communicate systems and abstract concepts to a broad, diverse audience (not just IT)

* Ability to develop and execute parameterized deployment scripts using AWS CloudFormation and associated tools

* Awareness of IT / Cyber Security

* Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment

* Strong customer focus, business acumen, and results orientation

* Proven self-starter demonstrated through related work experience

* Strong collaboration and teaming skills

* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)

* Committed to personal excellence, ethical behaviour and integrity

* Eligible for Security clearance
