Working Pattern/ HoursContracted Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
Candidates must possess an electrical or mechanical maintenance technical Level 3 qualification (BTEC and/or NVQ3). City & Guilds 17th Edition is essential for electrically qualified personnel.
Experience in an industrial maintenance environment Familiar with safe working practices (PTW, RAMS etc.)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner Industrial maintenance engineering background (any sector) with relevant skill-set and knowledge Flexible and pro-active attitude with excellent organisational skills
Demonstrate a flexible approach to responsibility
Uses own initiative
Ability to communicate with people at all levels including Clients
Professionally deals with Clients at all levels Hands on approach
Enthusiastic and self-motivated (results driven)
Familiar with Health & Safety requirements (Permit to Work, Risk Assessment, Method Statement, Safe working Practices)
The role will involve planning activities (plan and control preventive, corrective and reactive activities across site)
Experience To ensure materials, equipment and all required risk assessment, method statement and permit to work are in place.
To manage all third party contractor activities on site.
Ensure job feedback on CMMS system are complete and to required standard.
Compile KPI data. Procurement of spares for reactive activities.
To deputise for the Maintenance Manager and Reliability Engineer when required.
Compile detailed shut down plans.
To attend planning meetings and liaise with production personnel to ensure plant release
IT skills definitely Word, Excel. Potentially CMMS (SAP, Frontline, Maximo, Mainsaver etc.) Good understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment and services Able to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
