Sales Executive

My client are active across the UK & Southern Ireland and have recently celebrated over half a decade in the business , boasting longevity of staff and 1st class service they are now looking for a Sales Executive to join the team in head office to help build further success from both new & existing customers.

Day to Day Duties;

To build and develop relationships with new and existing clients using desk based selling techniques.

To process orders by phone, web and email.

To be proactive to sales and generate quality sales leads for field sales colleagues (i.e. selling offers / promotions).

To conduct market research as required.

With guidance, to make outbound sales prospecting calls and develop all sales opportunities. To place orders in the correct manner ensuring payment is taken correctly.

To be responsible for helping to meet challenging group sales targets through proactively selling products and services to business customers.

To process orders and to ensure that all orders are dispatched with 100% accuracy and invoiced within the agreed delivery framework.

To work closely with the Purchasing and Production Departments to ensure that stock is at suitable levels and liaise with all other departments to ensure orders are fulfilled within the required timeframe.

To develop a good knowledge and understanding of product and service portfolio.

What Skills Do I Need?

Previous sales experience in an office environment

Experience in a technical/hire environment would be advantageous

Driving license & access to own transport as client visits are expected

Excellent organisation skills

Eagerness to learn new industry products/trends

Working hours for this role are Monday – Friday between 8am & 5.30pm dependent on preference and business needs.
